Michael Belgrave – Becoming Aotearoa

In the first major history of Aotearoa New Zealand to be published for 20 years, Professor Michael Belgrave puts forward the idea that Aotearoa’s two peoples — tangata whenua and later migrants — have worked together to shape an open, liberal society built on a series of social agreements. He invites us to take a deeper, thoughtful look at our shared history. He joins Michael Stevens (Ngāi Tahu) for a kōrero.
