Come to Scorpio Books to celebrate the launch of the second book in Rachael King’s kids’ series Violet and the Velvets! Drawing on the author’s experience of being a teenage girl bass player, the Violet and the Velvets series is all about the DIY JOY of playing in a band, competing at BandChamps, and solving mysteries. All ages welcome – not just for children! – with refreshments and (perhaps) surprise entertainment to start your festival evening off with some lighthearted fun.
