Ruth Shaw

Ruth Shaw, aged 75, should be retiring but instead when she turned 70 she opened the first of her three wee bookshops. She reads, on average, two books a week. As her husband Lance says, ‘Life is never dull when you are with Ruth.’ She is the author of The Bookseller at the End of the World.
