Mahdis Azarmandi

Mahdis Azarmandi is Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Canterbury. Her research interests are decolonial approaches to peace studies, critical race and whiteness studies, memorialisation, and decolonisation. Azarmandi has taught in the United States, Germany and Denmark. She is co-editor of Decolonize the City!/Zur Kolonialität der Stadt. She is an antiracist activist and a teacher for life-long learning.
