Her latest riveting book, Sea Change, shifts to the present day, a moving and timely story of a coastal community grappling with the aftermath of a devastating tsunami. When forced to abandon their homes under a government retreat mandate, a group of determined locals come together to fight for their place and each other.  Close bonds are formed, and problems are solved in surprising ways.
