Following the acclaim of Vera Ellen's 2021 album, It’s Your Birthday, which saw her win the 'Best Alternative Artist' award at the 2022 AMAs and receive a Taite Award nomination, Vera Ellen unveiled Ideal Home Noise in 2023 through Flying Nun Records. Her subsequent win of the Taite Music Prize at the 2024 awards further solidified her critical acclaim and success.
