Dr Riki Neihana Pirihi is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, academic, and sound artist, based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa. From composing and conducting the Funkadelic inspired big band ensemble Eru Dangerspiel and Tuone Conduction Ensemble, to performing and recording alongside a diverse range of artists – Trinity Roots, Orchestra of Spheres, Mara TK, Crowded House, Recloose, Leila Adu, Fat Freddys Drop, Seven Davis Jnr, Bic Runga, Connan Mockasin, and Jeff Henderson, to name just a few. He is presently performing regularly with/ as Cave Circles, Te Åtea Nui Taonga Puoro Conduction Ensemble (as conductor), Orchestra of Spheres, Aja, and DJ Oboe.
