Originally from Scotland, Dr Kirsty Baker is an art historian, curator and writer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara where she currently works as a curator at City Gallery Wellington Te Whare Toi. Her writing on contemporary art has been published widely in publications such as Art New Zealand, Art + Australia, Landfall and The Brooklyn Rail. Her first book, Sight Lines: Women and Art in Aotearoa is published by Auckland University Press.
