Charlotte Glennie
Charlotte Glennie is an award-winning former broadcast journalist who has reported for top-tier news organisations in New Zealand, Australia and Asia. She was Television New Zealand’s first and only Asia correspondent, memorably covering one of the worst natural disasters of our times, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
Next, she became China correspondent for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s regional television channel, Australia Network. Later, Charlotte worked for the ABC in Australia and the BBC in Singapore, before moving into the not-for-profit sector and taking on communications roles with UNICEF Australia and the education charity The Smith Family, supporting children facing hardship.
