Bryce Galloway

Bryce Galloway (born Kirikiriroa/Hamilton 1966) is a Pākehā artist/academic living in Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington where he lectures for Whiti o Rehua School of Art, Massey University. Galloway is the author of Aotearoa's first extensive zine history - Zine NZ (punk to present) - published by Massey University Press. He's also the author of Aotearoa's longest running zine - Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People - a largely diaristic zine made up of loose doodly drawings, comics and personal essays. Galloway is a founding member and committee lead for the annual Kirikiriroa Hamilton Zinefest. He champions all things zine.

When not zining [sic], Galloway writes and performs inverted pop songs for the group Wendyhouse with longtime collaborator Daniel Powell or turns his hand to video.
