Bruce Russell
Bruce Russell is an inveterate improvisor and practitioner in sound. Since 1987 he has been a member of the Dead C, an internationally celebrated genre-dissolving New Zealand trio. He has also been active as a solo artist (guitar/electronics) and DJ; specialising in 7” 45rpm vinyl as his medium. ‘Back to mono!’. Russell coordinates creative research and post-graduate teaching in creative practice at Ara Institute of Canterbury and is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Art and Music at the University of Canterbury.
