Motherhood

SOLD OUT – see related events below

When the Guardian described Hollie McNish’s award-winning ‘poetic memoir’ Nobody Told Me as ‘diary entries, poems jotted in the dead of night and during nap-times, breathless musings on breastfeeding, sex after giving birth, and the state of the world’, it could have just as easily been describing The Spinoff Parents editor Emily WritesRants in the Dark. Both write wryly, honestly and with humour and warmth about pregnancy and motherhood. In a session sure to be full of laughs and a few tears, they read and discuss their books, including the new anthology Is It Bedtime Yet?, with Catherine Robertson, and with a bonus appearance by Brannavan Gnanalingam, giving a glimpse of the view from ‘the other side’.
