MEGAN DUNN: THINGS I LEARNED AT ART SCHOOL

Megan Dunn, author of 2018’s brilliant memoir Tinderbox, now turns her eye for the absurd on her days at art school. Things I Learned at Art School is a comic journey through pop culture and contemporary art, childhood obsessions, working as a barmaid at Showgirls, and her heady days spent mashing up video of Snow White with footage of Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 Weeks. Part memoir, part essay collection, this is a killer contemporary read. Megan appears in conversation with fellow 90s art-school survivor, Aaron Kreisler, Head of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury.
