A CLEAR DAWN: NEW ASIAN VOICES FROM AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

A Clear Dawn is the first ever anthology of Asian-New Zealand creative writing. It gathers together the brilliant work of a new wave of writers with roots in soils from Indonesia to China, India to Thailand, and of course Aotearoa as well. Co-editor Paula Morris hosts readings and conversation with a rich selection of contributors including E Wen Wong, Sharon Lam, Nod Ghosh, Russell Boey, Melanie Kwang and Neema Singh, with special guest Jeffrey Zhao on the erhu (Chinese classical ‘violin’).

Please note that Alison Wong was originally advertised as co-host for this session. We’re sorry to say that due to the suspension of quarantine-free travel with Australia, Alison is no longer able to join us.

Tickets are not required to attend free events. We do recommend arriving early to secure a place. Please note that if COVID-19 alert levels change, online registration for free events will be required.
