Ray Shipley is a comedian, poet, and librarian from Ōtautahi. In 2019 Ray was nominated for the Billy T Award – the biggest award for the rising stars of comedy in Aotearoa – and has won the Christchurch Poetry Slam four times, placing third nationally in 2018. Ray co-runs Cosy Comedy, makes a really good cup of tea, and sometimes crochets for cash.
