Pauline Cotter

Pauline Cotter is currently the Deputy Mayor of Christchurch City Council, and although she has been a City Councillor since 2013 she did have a life before that! Born and bred in Ōtautahi, she will recount some of her experiences as a younger woman, and some of the interesting choices she made during her OE in Australia. On returning to New Zealand she sprouted a family of four kids, while embarking on another self employed venture so she could enjoy the challenge of balancing parenthood and earning a living. Looking back on what now seems like a roller coaster ride makes her think “sometimes things just work out”.
