Emily Perkins

Emily Perkins‘ most recent novel Lioness (Bloomsbury) was awarded the Jann Medlicott Acorn Prize for Fiction in this year’s Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. Other books include the Women’s Prize longlisted The Forrests, winner of the Montana Medal for Fiction Novel About My Wife, and Not Her Real Name, which won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize in the UK. Emily also writes for theatre, film and television. She lives in Wellington with her husband, artist Karl Maughan.
