Eamonn Marra is a writer and comedian. He was born and raised in Christchurch and now lives in Wellington. He has an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction from the International Institute of Modern Letters. Eamonn has performed at the Wellington Opera House, on TV3’s AotearoHA: Rising Stars and in festivals and theatres across New Zealand. His shows include Man on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (2014), Respite (2014/2015), I, Will Jones (2016–18), and Dignity (2018). He published his first book 2000ft Above Worry Level this year with Victoria University Press. It was described in Landfall Review as ‘grotesque, sad and funny all in one punch’.
